A man was attacked on Somerset Road at around 2am on Friday, 17 December. The victim was approached by an unknown attacker who demanded his belongings. During the struggle, the man suffered an eye injury that required hospital treatment. Fortunately, no items were stolen during the incident.

PC Danny Holloway, who is leading the investigation, stated: “The victim is currently unable to provide a description of the suspect. We know details are scarce, but anyone who was nearby or spotted anything suspicious should come forward.”

He added: “CCTV footage from the area could be crucial in cracking this case.”
