Paedophile Jailed Over Sick Online Exploits
A 27-year-old man has been locked up for over three years after pleading guilty to trying to involve children in sexual activity. Suresh Varsani, from Harrow Road, HA9, was sentenced to three years and four months at Harrow Crown Court on Monday, 27 November.
Horrific Online Abuse Against Children Exposed
Varsani admitted attempting to cause a child under 13 to engage in sexual acts between 21 August and 9 September. He also tried to communicate sexually and make that child watch a sex act. In a chilling pattern, he committed the same offences against a child aged 13 or older between 19 August and 31 August.
Public Vigilantes Help Catch Predatory Pervert
The predator was caught after concerned members of the public went undercover online posing as a 12-year-old girl called “Mollie Banner” and an older girl “Amber Jones.” Varsani had sent explicit images and messages to both fake profiles.
Lifetime Punishment Awaits Varsani
Alongside his prison sentence, Varsani was handed a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will remain on the Sex Offenders Register for life. Authorities vow to keep up the fight against online predators.
