Police are urgently searching for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious collision in Folkestone left a woman in her 80s critically injured. The crash occurred at approximately 5.45pm on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, at the busy junction of Horn Street and Church Road.

A yellow Honda Jazz was turning into Horn Street when it was struck by a grey Audi A4 travelling at speed along Church Road. The impact caused significant damage and raised immediate concern for the safety of those involved.

Emergency services, including South East Coast Ambulance and other emergency crews, responded swiftly to the scene. The woman in her 80s was quickly transported to a hospital in London, where she remains in critical condition.

Police have issued a plea for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle prior to the crash to come forward. Officers believe dashcam footage could be vital in understanding the circumstances leading up to the accident.
