A man was seriously injured in a traffic incident on Dog Kennel Hill, SE22, London, on 4 June. The London Ambulance Service responded rapidly, dispatching ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response vehicles, and an incident response officer to the scene.
The Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance helicopter was also deployed to support emergency teams attending the incident.
The London Ambulance Service received the urgent call at 11:02am and sent multiple units, including fast response cars and an incident officer, to provide immediate assessment and care on site.
The arrival of the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance highlighted the critical nature of the injuries, bringing specialist medical support to the location.
Following initial treatment at the scene, the injured man was transported by road to a major trauma centre for advanced medical care to address the serious injuries sustained during the incident.
Police continue to investigate the incident and have appealed for anyone with dash-cam footage or information to contact them on 101, quoting CAD 2432/5JUN, to help establish the full circumstances of the collision.
