Teen Brutally Attacked by Gang in Carpark – Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

At around 2.50pm on Monday, 18 February, a 16-year-old boy was viciously attacked in the Black Swan carpark. A gang of at least ten males, aged between 15 and 18, confronted him. Two of the teens launched the brutal assault while a third filmed the whole ordeal.

Attack Sparks Panic as Barbershop Windows Shattered

The violent fracas didn’t stop there. During the chaos, several windows of Jim’s Barbers were smashed. A brave passerby tried to step in but the thugs fled before police arrived.

Victim Left Bruised, Police Chase Leads Needed

The teenage victim suffered head bruising in the unprovoked attack. PC Ruth Curtis pleaded with the public:

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who recognises those in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
