Toddler Bitten by Husky in Southampton Car Park – Police Launch Dog Owner Hunt
Hampshire Constabulary is urgently hunting the owner of a Husky after a two-year-old girl was bitten in a Southampton car park. The incident happened at Antelope Business Park on Bursledon Road between 3pm and 3.45pm on Tuesday, 29 January.
Toddler Enjoyed Dog’s Company – Then Was Bitten
The little girl was with her father and approached the dog on their way into Lidl. At first, the dog seemed friendly. But on their way out, the dog bit the toddler’s face, leaving bite marks on her nose and chin. She needed stitches for her injuries.
Who Owns the Tethered Husky?
Police want to find the dog’s owner. They’re asking anyone who was in Lidl that afternoon and owns a Husky to come forward. Officers need to assess the dog’s behaviour to prevent any future attacks.
