Gang Rapper Pulls Off Daring Double Hospital Escape in London
Daniel Boakye, 21, a notorious gang member and drill rapper locked up for armed robberies, has stunned police with not one but two sensational escapes from custody—both during hospital visits.
Boakye’s Second Breakout in a Week
The HMP Feltham inmate, who is set to be deported to Ghana, slipped police supervision at Lewisham Hospital at 3:05pm on Sunday, 15 February while getting medical treatment. Despite a police pursuit, Boakye vanished without a trace.
This marks his second successful getaway in just eight days. He first fled from West Middlesex University Hospital last Tuesday, only to be caught the following Wednesday at a property in Thamesmead.
The Directorate of Professional Standards is now involved, raising serious questions about prison security during hospital visits.
Police Hunt Intensifies as Deportation Looms
- Description: Black male, medium height, slim build
- Last seen wearing: Grey tracksuit bottoms and a dark Nike jacket
- Criminal links: Dangerous gang member and armed robber
- Deportation status: Still actively pursued despite fugitive status
The Met Police urge the public not to approach Boakye and to report any sightings immediately. Authorities are not only hunting for the fugitive but also investigating how such dramatic security lapses could occur.
