Woman Hospitalised After Van Hits Pedestrian in Petts Wood

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a van this afternoon in Petts Wood.

Emergency Services Swiftly Respond

Emergency services were called to Station Square at 2.23pm on Monday, September 23, following reports of a collision between a van and a pedestrian.

Firefighters from Orpington and Croydon, alongside the London Ambulance Service, arrived quickly at the scene. London Fire Brigade confirmed crews left by 2.48pm after securing the area.

Official Statement from London Fire Brigade

“Firefighters were mobilised to an incident on Station Square in Petts Wood. One van was in collision with a pedestrian. An adult woman was taken to the hospital by the London Ambulance Service,” the brigade said.
