Church Street in Rudgwick was closed this afternoon after a woman rolled her car on a sharp bend between Ellens Green and Rudgwick. The incident occurred just after 4pm on Wednesday, November 1st.

Emergency services responded quickly as the woman’s Ford overturned on the dangerous corner. Firefighters from West Sussex Fire and Rescue, based in Billingshurst, arrived promptly and rescued the driver trapped inside the flipped vehicle.

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service treated the woman at the scene before transporting her to hospital for further medical care. Surrey Road Policing officers were also present, managing the accident scene and coordinating vehicle recovery and road cleaning operations.

Following a brief closure and traffic diversion around the crash site, Church Street has now reopened to traffic, reducing delays for drivers in the area.
