A woman was left “extremely distressed” after a man began masturbating in front of her on a Thameslink train in south London. The shocking episode happened at around 11.15pm on February 6, aboard the service running between Tooting and Herne Hill.
Police Release Image, Seek Public Help
According to reports, the man was seated directly opposite the woman when he exposed himself, causing her immediate fear and distress. She quickly reported the incident to the police.
British Transport Police have now released an image of the suspect and appealed to the public to help identify him.
“Detectives investigating an incident of indecent exposure are releasing this image today. At around 11.15pm on Tuesday, February 6, a man exposed himself and started masturbating on a Thameslink service between Tooting and Herne Hill,” said a police spokesperson.
“The woman was extremely distressed and immediately left her seat to report what had happened.”
