A woman tragically died following a serious incident at a house in Lowden, Chippenham, on Saturday evening.
Emergency Crews Rush In
Just after 6pm on 14 March, Westlea Fire Station’s technical rescue team from Swindon joined forces with the local Chippenham fire crew in a desperate rescue attempt.
Critical care medics from the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, three ambulance crews, and an operations officer also rushed to the scene, battling to save the woman’s life.
No Suspicious Circumstances
Despite their efforts, the woman—whose age has not been revealed—was pronounced dead at the scene. Wiltshire Police have confirmed there is no suspicion surrounding her death.
Road Closures and Disruption
Authorities closed Lowden in both directions until around 8.30pm while emergency teams worked tirelessly.
