Tragic blaze claims woman’s life in Romsey house fire
A woman has died after a fierce house fire ripped through a property in Romsey in the early hours of Monday.
Dramatic rescue amid overnight inferno
Firefighters were called to Jacobs Close just before 3am. They pulled a man from an upstairs bedroom and rushed him to hospital. His condition remains unknown.
Massive emergency response
Some 20 firefighters from three stations battled the blaze. The fire service and Hampshire Constabulary have launched a joint probe to find out what sparked the deadly fire.
