A 33-year-old Wolverhampton man has been jailed for drug dealing after police caught him carrying heroin and crack cocaine on New Year’s Eve in All Saints.

Officers from the Ettingshall, Blakenhall and Springvale policing team stopped Shem Harding driving on Ettingshall Road following intelligence received. During the stop, police seized £100 from his car’s centre console and found 62 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine on him.

Major Drug Seizure

Further searches at Harding’s Parklands Road home uncovered significant quantities of Class A drugs as well as cash and paraphernalia related to drug dealing.

The targeted patrol demonstrated the local teams’ determined efforts to disrupt illegal drug activity in Wolverhampton.

Court Sentence Delivered

Harding pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply and was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 1 June to three years behind bars.
