The incident involved a Fiat which was driven straight through the front room wall of the property, leaving locals stunned by the terrifying scene.
The driver fled the scene on foot, abandoning the damaged vehicle behind. Witnesses reported seeing a crate of San Miguel beers still in the back seat, suggesting the night had taken a dangerous turn.
Eyewitnesses said emergency services arrived within minutes after the driver disappeared. Several ambulances and police vehicles were seen rushing along nearby Ramsgate Road in response to the crash.
