Car Smashes Into Pub During Rush Hour in Fordingbridge
A car careered off the road and crashed into the Augustus John pub on Station Road, Fordingbridge, at around 5.20pm on Friday, September 23rd — right in the evening rush hour.
Woman Trapped, Rescued by Firefighters
One woman inside the car had to be freed by crews at the scene. Thankfully, she only suffered minor injuries.
Firefighters and Special Rescue Teams on Standby
Fire crews from Fordingbridge, 1, and Redbridge rushed out to help. The specialist Urban Search and Rescue team from Eastleigh also joined the operation. Hampshire Fire and Rescue checked the pub to ensure the building was safe following the crash.
