An urgent appeal has been launched to find a vulnerable woman who has been reported missing from Ramsgate, with serious concerns for her welfare. Charlene Higgins, 44, was reported missing on Thursday, 6 August, prompting an appeal for members of the public to help locate her. Family and friends are said to be extremely concerned for Charlene’s safety and are urging people across Ramsgate and the surrounding area to keep a lookout. Charlene is described as being approximately 5ft 6in tall. A public appeal circulating on social media is asking residents to check gardens, sheds, doorbell cameras and other quiet or sheltered locations for anything that could help establish her whereabouts. Police have been informed of Charlene’s disappearance. The appeal states: “Please help us by looking everywhere you can and sharing this post as widely as possible. “Check gardens, sheds, doorbell cameras and any quiet or sheltered places nearby. “Please keep sharing – every pair of eyes could help bring Charlene home safely.” Anyone who has seen Charlene or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police as soon as possible.
