Kent Police have launched an urgent hunt for a missing man in Hythe who vanished in the early hours of Sunday, March 2, 2025. Sam Elam, aged 30, was last seen leaving his home on St Leonards Road, Hythe.
He was captured on CCTV at Hythe Ranges around 2:30 AM on the same day. At that time, Sam was wearing a black jacket, jeans, blue Skechers trainers, a woolly hat, and glasses.
Police have released fresh images to aid the search, including a clear CCTV still from the night Sam disappeared and a recent family photo that provides a close likeness despite being a few years old.
Kent Police are making a public plea for help in finding Sam. They urge anyone with information to come forward immediately. If you spot Sam or know his whereabouts, you are advised to act quickly.
“If you see Sam or have any information, call 999 immediately and quote reference 02-0480,” police stated.
Officers and search teams continue to comb the area for clues as the investigation progresses. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
