A Tonypandy man, Daryl Bees, aged 33, has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison following the discovery of £20,000 worth of cocaine at his residence.
Bees pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine as well as being concerned in its supply. His sentencing took place at Swansea Crown Court on Wednesday, May 6.
During the police operation targeting Bees’ property, officers uncovered approximately 180 deals of cocaine. This significant find revealed a large quantity of illicit drugs prepared for distribution.
Following the investigation, Bees was promptly arrested and charged. At trial, he admitted his involvement in supplying cocaine, which led to the custodial sentence imposed by the court.
The conviction underscores ongoing police efforts to combat drug supply chains in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area. Authorities aim to disrupt dealers and protect local communities from the impact of illegal drugs.
