Three people were injured, including one seriously, after a collision between a bus and a car in Gosport, Hampshire.
The crash occurred around 1pm on Priory Road, prompting emergency teams to rush to the scene following the impact.
An off-duty nurse was on hand and acted quickly to assist two of the injured individuals before paramedics arrived.
Among those hurt was a pensioner who was carefully removed from the bus on a spinal board by paramedics and taken for urgent medical treatment. A 20-year-old woman sustained cuts to her face and head during the collision.
All three victims received treatment at the scene from South Central Ambulance Service crews. A spokeswoman confirmed that a rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew attended the incident and worked promptly to aid the injured.
