Four fire engines and approximately 25 firefighters responded to a significant house fire on Whitehorse Lane, South Norwood, on the morning of January 26.
The fire severely damaged half of the ground floor and most of the first floor of the terraced property, causing extensive destruction.
Three residents managed to escape the property before the arrival of firefighters. London Ambulance crews treated them at the scene, with one man being taken to hospital for further medical attention.
The London Fire Brigade received 12 emergency calls reporting the blaze. Firefighters from West Norwood, Woodside, and Norbury stations attended the incident. The fire was first reported at 7:54 am and was brought under control by 9:06 am.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
