Firefighters from Leatherhead were dispatched to the scene at 11:23am following a request for assistance from South East Coast Ambulance paramedics. It remains unclear whether the firefighters had to use cutting equipment to free any individuals who may have been trapped in vehicles. The fire service stated that their presence was primarily for manpower support during the emergency response.
