Missing Woodley Teen George Tomes Found Safe and Sound
Good news tonight as 18-year-old George Tomes, who vanished from Woodley, has been found safe and well. The tall, slim Air Cadet was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and black combat boots, sparking a frantic search.
18-Year-Old Vanishes from Woodley
George Tomes disappeared at around 9.30pm on Saturday night. The 6ft 4ins teen has distinctive green and hazel eyes and dark brown shaved hair. When missing, he was carrying a military-style camouflage rucksack and webbing.
Worry soared when George failed to attend a Remembrance Parade on Sunday, prompting police and his family to launch an urgent appeal.
Police and Family Plead for Help
Sgt Peter Lawman from Bracknell Police said: “We are concerned for George’s welfare, particularly as he is involved with the Air Cadets. If you see George, please contact police so we can check on his welfare. And if George sees this appeal, please let us know you are safe.”
Anyone with information was urged to ring Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting URN 407 13/11.
George Is Home and Recovering
