Leeds Chaos: Blue Skoda Fabia Leaves Trail of Collisions
Police are hunting for a reckless driver after a blue Skoda Fabia smashed into several vehicles across Leeds last week. The dangerous spree left a path of destruction but, luckily, no serious injuries.
Hit and Run Horror on Leeds Roads
- The mayhem kicked off around 8.40am on Thursday 12 February.
- The Skoda crashed into cars on Savins Mill Way, then sped off towards Kirkstall Road.
- At 8.45am, the same car caused another crash on Canal Road near Pickering Street while overtaking slow traffic.
- Refusing to stop, it then drove the wrong way along the A61 heading for the M621 Junction 4, smashing into multiple vehicles.
- By 8.50am, the Skoda collided again on Dewsbury Road, Beeston, flipped over after hitting a double-decker bus, and the driver fled on foot.
Police Appeal: Did You See This Dangerous Driver?
Inspector Claire Gray from the Roads Policing Unit said:
“This Skoda Fabia was driven in a dreadful and dangerous manner throughout Leeds. It’s lucky nobody was seriously hurt. We are doing everything to track down the driver.”
The male driver was last seen wearing a black puffa coat. Police urge anyone with dashcam footage or information to call 101 or contact via Live Chat quoting police log 316 of 12 February.
