Ernie Cock’s Century Celebration with Fiery Guard of Honour

Ernie Cock hit the big 1-0-0, and his birthday bash was no ordinary party. A guard of honour paid tribute to the century-old fire legend.

From 1946 to Forever a Firefighter

Ernie joined the National Fire Service right after the war in 1946. He later moved to the London Fire Brigade, spending most of his career at Poplar fire station.

As they say, once a firefighter, always a firefighter—and Ernie proves it at 100!
