Red Arrows Get a New Boss – And She’s Flying High!
The Royal Air Force’s legendary Red Arrows aerobatic team has a fresh face at the helm. Wing Commander Sasha Nash is now the Officer Commanding, taking charge of the iconic squadron with pride and determination.
Meet Wing Commander Sasha Nash
Wing Commander Nash has taken over from Wg Cdr Adam Collins, who completed a stellar three years leading the team. The Red Arrows, a tight-knit crew of 150 pilots and ground staff, are now under her expert command.
Hailing from Surrey, Nash isn’t just a figurehead. She’s a seasoned fast-jet pilot with frontline experience flying the mighty Tornado GR4 on missions worldwide. Before stepping into this top role, she was Chief of Staff at Display Wing Headquarters, working closely with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Red Arrows.
Leading with Passion and Purpose
“I’m incredibly proud and excited to now, as OC RAFAT, be commanding a team whose aim is to represent the UK and help inspire future generations of aviators from all backgrounds,” said Wg Cdr Nash.
With her at the controls, the Red Arrows are set to keep dazzling the skies while inspiring Britain’s next generation of pilots.
