Emergency crews responded to a multiple-car crash on the A27 near Fareham involving a Range Rover, Toyota Yaris, and Audi S3. The collision occurred just after 8pm on Monday near the Shell filling station on the outskirts of Fareham.

The busy A27 route between Fareham and Titchfield was closed in both directions following the incident. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue teams arrived at the scene and used specialist cutting equipment to free several people trapped in the wreckage.

Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service provided medical treatment to the injured parties. Additionally, a critical care team from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was dispatched to assist at the scene.

Police have urged drivers to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while emergency services continue to work on clearing the scene and ensuring the safety of all involved.
