McDonald’s Set to Reopen 15 UK Branches on May 13
McDonald’s has finally revealed when it will reopen 15 of its UK restaurants – and it’s happening on May 13. But don’t expect the full McDonald’s experience just yet. The fast-food giant will kick off with delivery-only service and a slimmed-down menu.
Delivery Only, No Dining In
Hungry customers can order exclusively through Uber Eats and Just Eat. The official My McDonald’s app won’t be taking orders for now. Plus, these platforms charge delivery fees based on your distance from the restaurant, so prepare for extra costs. Heads up: the restaurants will stay closed to walk-ins, meaning no eating inside for now.
Limited Hours and Menu – No Breakfast Yet
McDonald’s hasn’t named which restaurants will open, but more details will drop closer to the date. For now, opening hours will be squeezed to 11am until 10pm, cutting out all breakfast items for the time being.
What’s on the Reduced McDonald’s Menu?
Here’s what you can expect to feast on:
- Main Menu: Cheeseburger, Hamburger, Double Cheeseburger, Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, McChicken Sandwich, Filet-O-Fish, Chicken McNuggets, Chicken Selects
- Sides & Desserts: Fries, Mozzarella Dippers, Core McFlurry (Oreo, Maltesers, Smarties), Fruit Bag
- Drinks: Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Fanta, Sprite, Oasis, Black Coffee, White Coffee, Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Flat White, Tea, Orange Juice, Fruit Shoot, Water
- Happy Meal Options: Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Four Nuggets
