Man in His 50s Dies in Horror Porsche Crash on M6
A man in his 50s has tragically lost his life after crashing his silver Porsche 911 Carrera into a barrier on the M6 near Great Barr just after midnight.
Deadly Smash at Junction 7
The smash happened at around 12:15am on 26 January on the northbound carriageway near Junction 7. West Midlands Police confirmed the fatal collision and sent their serious collision investigation unit to uncover what went wrong.
“Our thoughts remain with the man’s loved ones at this devastating time,” said police. “At this stage, we do not believe any other vehicle was involved.”
M6 Northbound Partially Reopens, Slip Road Closed
The northbound M6 has now reopened, but the slip road near Junction 7 remains closed for highway repairs following the crash.
