Chaos on Cornwall’s A30 after serious two-vehicle crash – road shut westbound!
The A30 is completely closed westbound between the A395 at Launceston and the A38 at Bodmin following a major collision involving two vehicles.

How to Dodge the Delay: Official Diversion Route
Follow the solid square symbol to skirt the closure:
- Leave A30 westbound at the A395 junction near Kennards House
- Use the roundabouts to loop back onto A30 eastbound heading towards Launceston
- Exit again at the A388 junction at Launceston
- Take A388 southbound towards Saltash
- Join A38 westbound at Carkeel Roundabout
- Carry on A38 west to Bodmin, then rejoin A30 westbound to resume your journey
Warning: Due to the serious nature of the crash, expect the A30 to remain closed all night. Avoid the area if possible and plan alternative routes now!
