Honey G Snubs North End Christmas Lights Gig
Harrow’s very own Jewish hip hop star Honey G has cold-shouldered North End’s Christmas lights switch-on. Despite a shiny new Lidl opening in the area, Honey G reportedly demanded a whopping £5,000 appearance fee, according to her agent, Harvey Winklestein.
£5,000 Fee Too Rich for Tattered Festive Budget
“Honey doesn’t come cheap,” Winklestein told us. “Landing a megastar like her costs big. She even tailors rhymes for the spot and kicks off with a unique b-boy routine with Council chief Donna Jones.”
Council’s Christmas Budget a Meagre £40 and a Harvester Meal
Insiders reveal the festive fund was a joke – just £40 and a meal for two at Harvester. Clearly, Honey G’s price tag blew the budget sky-high. North End’s Christmas lights will have to shine a little less brightly this year.
