M3 Chaos: HGV Crashes Into Crash Barriers, Two Lanes Shut
Two lanes of the M3 remain shut this lunchtime after a 26-tonne tipper truck collided with another vehicle and then skidded into the crash barriers in the new smart motorway section.
Crash Details: Massive Barrier Damage
The smash happened in lane two, damaging about 10 metres of the crash barrier. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the collision.
Traffic Nightmare as Drivers Slow Down
Southbound traffic crawls as two lanes stay closed. Drivers are also slowing down on the opposite carriageway to gawk at the aftermath, causing even more delays.
