Firefighters Race to Hounslow House Fire
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were scrambled to a house fire on Eton Avenue, Hounslow in the early hours. Flames damaged a small part of the ground floor, but quick action kept the blaze from spreading.
Heroes in Breathing Gear Rescue Two Men
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus to lead two men to safety. Both were treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service medics.
Fire Under Control in Just Over an Hour
The London Fire Brigade was called at 2:19am and had the fire under control by 3:23am. Crews from Heston and Southall fire stations tackled the blaze.
Investigation Underway
The cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under investigation.
