Nigel Farage has fiercely criticised any plans to send British ground troops to Iran. The Reform UK leader warned it would be a “grave error” and reckons Britain lacks the military muscle for such a dangerous mission.

While Farage supports US and Israeli moves in the Middle East, he slammed Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer’s reaction as “pathetic.” When asked about the possibility of British boots on the ground to topple Tehran’s regime, Farage was blunt: “I don’t want to do that. I think that would be a huge mistake.”
Britain’s Army? Barely a Fighting Force
“We couldn’t put boots on the ground, we have barely got an army left,” Farage declared.
With dwindling forces, Farage says the UK should stay clear of direct military involvement and focus on backing allies without risking British lives in Iran.
