easyJet Relaunches Fearless Flyer Course This Winter
easyJet is back with its popular Fearless Flyer course to help nervous flyers beat their fears this winter. The programme returns to nine UK airports, including Manchester, London Luton, London Gatwick, Bristol, Belfast International, Edinburgh, and for the first time since the pandemic, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Birmingham. Over the past decade, the course has helped more than 10,000 anxious travellers take to the skies with confidence.
How the Fearless Flyer Course Works
The course has three key parts, combining virtual learning with hands-on experience:
- Virtual Ground Course: Run by phobia expert Lawrence Leyton alongside a senior easyJet captain, this 2.5-hour session breaks down the strange sounds and sensations onboard planes. Participants also learn special mind techniques to crush nerves.
- Pre-flight Zoom Meet & Greet: A one-hour online session where participants get a full airport walkthrough, plus a live Q&A with the Fearless Flyer team to answer all last-minute worries.
- Experience Flight: A one-hour flight from the participant’s local course airport to put newfound skills into action, complete with a live commentary from the Fearless Flyer team.
