Brick Hurled at Car with Toddler Near Bristol – Police Launch Urgent Hunt

Police are urgently appealing for information after a brick was thrown from a bridge onto a car carrying a mother and her two-year-old child near Bristol.

The terrifying incident occurred around 6pm on 18 January on the A4174 near Warmley. A brick smashed right through the car’s windscreen, showering the interior with shards of glass.

Miraculously, neither the mother nor her toddler were hurt. But the near-miss could have ended in tragedy.

Police Hunt Dangerous Brick-Thrower – Dashcam Footage Vital

Avon and Somerset Police said:

“We received a report of a brick being thrown from a bridge and hitting a car travelling along the A4174 near Brook Road, in Warmley, on Sunday January 18.”

“Officers conducted an area search and spoke with the driver to ensure they were safe.”

“Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to call 101 quoting reference 5226016094.”
