A two-van crash at the St Dustons roundabout in Ovingdean has brought traffic to a standstill. An air ambulance landed nearby, rushing to assist those involved in the collision.
The crash has partially blocked the A259 Marine Drive at Rottingdean, causing significant queueing traffic and delays for commuters travelling through the area.
Brighton and Hove Buses have confirmed that the Coast Road is closed westbound due to the incident. Several bus routes are now being diverted via Falmer Road, Woodingdean, and Wilsons Avenue. Additionally, some services are ending early at the Sealife Centre as a result of the disruption.
The AA has issued a traffic alert warning motorists about ongoing blockages at Greenways on the A259 and congestion around the St Dustons roundabout. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and prepare for delays while emergency services manage the situation.
