Emergency crews responded to a serious crash on the A4129 near Thame at 9:40pm on December 10, 2025. The collision occurred close to the Windmill Road junction, situated between Thame and Kingsey.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a female driver trapped inside her vehicle, injured and unable to escape. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service worked alongside the Thames Valley Air Ambulance to carry out a rapid rescue operation.

Fire crews worked urgently to free the woman before handing her over to the waiting medical team. She was then airlifted to hospital for urgent treatment.

Thames Valley Police have taken control of the scene and launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
