The dramatic blaze broke out on Druitt Road just after 9.15pm. Emergency crews faced a fierce, well-developed fire that saw 40 firefighters battle the inferno for nearly three hours before bringing it under control.
Thanks to quick-thinking neighbours who forced entry, Stacey and her seven-week-old puppy escaped the burning home unharmed.
