Two men were caught burgling Wildern School in Hampshire during the early hours of 9 November. Police responded quickly after receiving reports of a burglary in progress at the school.

Upon arrival, officers found two suspects at the scene and arrested them immediately. The first suspect, a 19-year-old man from Hedge End, faces charges of burglary and carrying a bladed article in public. The second suspect, an 18-year-old man from Southampton, was also arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Both men were given conditional cautions and ordered to pay £50 each in compensation to Wildern School. The prompt police intervention helped prevent further damage to the educational site.
