Tragic Death of Dad Craig Hall in A34 Mini-Bus Crash
A heartfelt tribute has been paid to Craig Hall, 36, who died after a fatal crash on the A34 last week. Craig, from Ainsworth Way, Middlesbrough, was travelling in a mini-bus when it collided with a lorry just south of Sutton Scotney Services at 4.40am on 26 February.
Sadly, Craig was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Mourns ‘Heart of Gold’ Dad
Craig’s wife, Jackie Hall, shared a moving tribute: “Craig was a family man with a heart of gold. He’d do anything to help anyone. If a friend called in the early hours for a lift, he’d jump out of bed without hesitation.”
She added, “He was a real joker and prankster. His loss has left a massive hole in all our lives. He lived for his kids and me. He wasn’t just my best friend, but my soulmate.”
Investigation Underway – Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation. Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash or has information to come forward.

Man Arrested and Released Pending Investigation
A 19-year-old man from Durham was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs. He has since been released but remains under investigation.
