Masked Machete Thugs Attack Teen in Southwark Stabbing
Police rushed to Bardell House, Dickens Estate, Parkers Row, Southwark, around 10pm on Sunday 25 April after reports of a stabbing sent shockwaves through the community.
Teen Slashed by Two Masked Men
A 19-year-old victim was found with wounds to his head and thigh. The brutal attack is believed to have happened moments earlier while the victim and a friend were walking along nearby Abbey Street, SE1.
Two men, armed with a machete and wearing balaclavas, launched the savage assault. Witnesses say the attackers fled the scene in a white BMW.
Emergency Services Rush to Save Victim
Officers on the scene quickly administered first aid. The berkshire999.co.uk/where/london/" title="London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) also attended. The young man was rushed to hospital, but thankfully his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
