Tragic Crash on Romsey Road Claims Life of Grandmother

Police rushed to the scene just after 9am on 22 March following a collision between an orange Mini Clubman and a silver Suzuki Wagon R on the A3057 Romsey Road.

Sadly, the 71-year-old driver of the Suzuki, Margaret Taylor from Stockbridge, died in the crash.

Family Pay Heartbreaking Tribute

“Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends,” her family said.

“She had a heart of gold and would do anything she could to help others. Our lives will never be the same again. We would like to thank all the emergency services and people on the scene that came to help.”

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has dash-cam footage of the vehicles involved, or the moments leading up to the crash, to get in touch.
