Tragic motorcycle crash claims life of 19-year-old in Newcastle

Fatal Crash Rocks Newburn

A 19-year-old man has died after a devastating motorcycle crash in Newburn, Newcastle upon Tyne. The single-vehicle collision happened just before 9pm on Sunday, 13 April 2025, on Kingfisher Boulevard near Goldcrest Way.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the seriously injured rider to hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Police Launch Full Investigation

A spokesperson confirmed the rider’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.

“We are committed to establishing the full circumstances of this tragic incident,” said the police spokesperson. “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or seen the motorcycle in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.”
