Andover Man Stabbed in Shocking Attack – Police Hunt Two Men
Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a 58-year-old man was stabbed in Andover on Sunday evening. The victim was attacked near River Way at around 5.30pm, in a frightening incident that shocked the local community.
Stabbed in the Abdomen
The victim was approached by two unknown men while walking along River Way. One of the men pulled a knife and stabbed him in the abdomen before both suspects fled the scene. The injured man was rushed to hospital, but thankfully has since been discharged following treatment.

- Men aged late 20s to 30s
- Wearing bomber jackets and black woolly hats
Detective Sergeant Tania Harris said: “This was a disturbing incident which could have had more serious consequences. We are eager to hear from anyone who saw the attack or noticed anything suspicious that evening.”
She added: “While we believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to the community, detectives are working hard to piece together exactly what happened.”
