A police van racing to an emergency slammed headfirst into a car in Crook Log just before 9.30am on March 31.
The driver of the car, a man in his 70s, was hospitalised as a precaution. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
All four officers inside the police van were also taken to hospital. Their current conditions have not yet been confirmed.
Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene. Authorities closed both directions on Crook Log and The Broadway during the emergency response.
The roads have now reopened, but investigations into the collision are ongoing. No arrests have been made so far.
