Tragic Crash in Sparsholt Claims Cyclist’s Life

Police have named the man who died following a collision in Sparsholt on Tuesday, 8 June. David Davenport, 59, of Eastleigh, was cycling along Woodman Lane at around 2.30pm when he collided with a blue Mini Cooper at the crossroads with Sarum Road.

Cyclist Dies Days After Collision

Mr Davenport was rushed to Southampton General Hospital but sadly passed away on 16 June due to his injuries. The local force is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
