West Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after a serious collision occurred on Great Horton Road, Bradford, on Saturday 18 April 2026. The crash involved a black Toyota Yaris and a stationary white BMW X5 at the junction with All Saints Road.
Two men were seriously injured in the incident, which has led to an investigation by the West Yorkshire Roads Policing Unit to determine the cause of the crash.
The collision took place at around 9am. A 30-year-old passenger in the Toyota Yaris suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital. The 33-year-old driver of the Yaris sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
West Yorkshire Police are urgently seeking witnesses and any CCTV or dashcam footage showing the black Toyota Yaris prior to the crash. Officers want to establish exactly how the serious collision unfolded at the junction of Great Horton Road and All Saints Road.
