Between 3.55pm and 4.15pm on Friday 17 March, a woman in her 20s was walking along a path near the Andover Down roundabout, running between London Road and Picket Twenty. As she walked parallel to the A3093, a man on a red mountain bike rode alongside her.
The man made lewd comments before indecently exposing himself. The quick-thinking victim ran away and reported the shocking incident to the police.
Police have described the suspicious cyclist as a white male with a slim build, believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s. He had facial hair on his chin and was missing two front teeth. At the time, he wore black jogging bottoms, a black sweatshirt, and a black cap. He was riding a red mountain bike.
PC Steve Rogerson of Andover’s High Harm Team said: “This was a disturbing incident and we are keen to find out who this man is. Were you walking in this area around that time? Did you see anyone matching this description? Any information, no matter how small, could help our enquiries.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference number 44230107798, report online via the police website, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
