Man punched in face after stepping in to stop street row
A chilling attack broke out on Station Approach Road just after 6.30pm on Sunday, 8 May 2022. A passerby saw a man and woman arguing and bravely stepped in to challenge the man on his behaviour – only to be punched hard in the face, suffering serious injuries.
Suspect on the Run
The attacker is described as a white male, around 5ft 8ins tall, stocky build, late 20s, with dark brown hair and a beard. He was wearing black trousers and a black top. Witnesses spotted him later driving a white BMW around town.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Kent Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened. They’d also like to track down the woman involved in the original row with the suspect before the assault.
