Surrey Police Launch Murder Probe After Woman Dies in West Molesey
Surrey Police have opened a murder investigation after a woman died from serious injuries sustained last month in West Molesey.
Woman Found Seriously Injured After Disturbance
Officers were called to Dunstall Way at around 4.20am on 26 November following reports of shouting and a speeding car fleeing the scene. They discovered 54-year-old Janet Moore, from Farm Road, Esher, badly hurt in the Hurst Pool car park.
Janet was airlifted to hospital but tragically died on Saturday afternoon, with her family informed of the heartbreaking news.
Police Appeal For Witnesses
Detectives want anyone near Dunstall Road and the A3050 between 11.30pm on 25 November and 4.30am the next morning to come forward.
“Did you see a light-coloured hatchback leaving the road around 4.15am?” asks Detective Chief Inspector Jo Hayes from Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, leading the inquiry.
